I am a mixed media artist living and working in Southeastern Michigan.
I work with all manner of surface design techniques and my current work revolves around fabric collage. I am also an avid writer and am happiest when I am creating.
Creating art is about finding your joy. It is often impossible to restrict it to one medium, although there is always one that we go back to time and again - our first love of art making.
For me, that first love is fiber art. I hand stitch 99% of my work in an effort to leave my mark on everything that I make. I enjoy mixing fiber with other materials, creating a juxtaposition of textures and surfaces.
