January 13, 2008 Confused January weather is dong the impersonation of spring. The snow has receded quickly and an afternoon crawl through Greektown in downtown Detroit offers much needed distraction. The city has been working for some time to find its voice again, to remember who it is. Not all of its inhabitants have hope for the future, though. Nature is barricaded behind steel cages, held captive in a place where it once had the run of the land. |

Where I Stand is an ongoing photo essay examining the different places I spend my life standing. Too often we take for granted the everyday places we spend our lives walking on. The ground we tread on has its own stories to tell.
A new photo is posted every Sunday on my blog.
