Shelter
Artist statement: This quilt depicts a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, a favorite charity of mine, because they bring to reality an actual physical structure that provides shelter and a home for a deserving family. The fruits of these volunteer's labors are visible and life changing, and can be found all over the world. |
