The Voices of Our Youth
Artist statement: This quilt represents my teenage daughter, Emily, and all her friends who are graduating from high school. They are entering the world with such hope, intelligence, beauty, social conscience, environmental awareness and enthusiasm for life. I am proud to live in a country where they will have every opportunity to realize their dreams. |
