A Pet's Best Friend
Artist statement: My quilt pays tribute to my Veterinarian, Betsy Miller. She is so dedicated to animals. She is there for them 24/7. You can call her anytime with a problem and she will be there for you and your pet. Her love for animals pours out of her. I am so lucky to have her for my pets. This is Abner. He had to be put to sleep because he had a growth on his larynx a few years ago. Betsy said she could cut the growth off but it would return again. So while Abner was under anesthetic I told her to let him go. He was a very special cat to me. He lived 14 years. |
