Artist statement: Project Linus is a national organization that donates quilts and blankets to children facing substantial distress in their lives. Originally blankets were for pediatric cancer patients, however the organization has expanded to donate not only to area hospitals but to also include Child Protective Services and homeless and women's shelters. With one voice many, many quilters, knitters and sewers have been able to brighten the day of children that face hardships and unbelievable obstacles every day.
