My piece shows houses from various parts of the world hanging on a line held between trees. My quilt depicts people from around the world enjoying the same things when they hang out at home: fun, friendship and sharing time with family, friends and neighbors. My belief is that the world is one big neighborhood with everyone wanting the same things in life, regardless of what part of the world they live in, what their homes look like, what color their skin. Home should be a Great Place to Hang Out and a starting point for happy beginnings and a place to return with fond memories.
