In 2007, fifty-four quilt artists from across the United States as well as Canada, the United Kingdom and Israel explored the meaning of the word Connections.
Many delved deep into extremely personal issues while other focused on world issues or the more literal definition of the word. Each quilt is as unique as the artist.
The 2007 exhibit produced a varied and remarkable array of styles. Enjoy viewing the gallery and we hope you will join us for next year's exhibit!

Artist statement:
I immediately thought of "human" connections when I saw the theme for this exhibit and decided to play with the idea of family. I'd been toying with the idea of a more 3-dimensional quilt with faces coming out of the surface for quite a while. The exhibit was the perfect opportunity to explore this technique.
